Capturing the natural world aroundThe new Zimmer + Rohde spring collection SOUL SPACES is a veritable cornucopia for the senses: Rough meets smooth. Matte meets shimmering. Soft meets hard. Rugged textures contrast with sumptuous, high-quality surface finishes.

FRAMINGS

Squares and stripes combine to create an expansive check pattern. The right hand corner is interrupted by the irregularity of the design and the lightly offset arrangement of the surfaces, providing a rhythmic playfulness to the eye-catching design. Through the elaborate combination of jacquard patterning and embroidery an expressive relief effect is achieved.

SECRET GARDEN

ZR delves deep into the opulence and lushness of a secret garden. Opulent vines and flowers intertwine in SECRET GARDEN, creating a feast of colors and textures. The special cashmere finish provides the softly flowing décor fabric with its irresistible feel as well as creating soft and harmonious color transitions. This sensory explosion is available in four harmonious colorways.

COMFY BOUCLÉ

Noticeably soft and voluminous. For this expressive color mélange, boucle yarns in three different color nuances are brought together in warp and weft. The result is a high-comfort upholstery fabric with a dense woolen texture. Feel COMFY BOUCLÉ.

RYTHM

The three-dimensional allover design was woven with voluminous bouclé yarn on an elegantly shimmering satin warp. Color-contrasting shadows in linen fabric create another layer and intensify the charming relief effect of the expressive jacquard. The eloquent character of the design makes RYTHM perfect as an eye-catching statement, ideal for smaller upholstered surfaces such as chairs or stools.

LINEN MAGIC

Made with the finest quality European flax. The pure and restrained elegance of one of the most beautiful natural materials is reflected in this floor-length linen satin-weave. The nature-inspired palette includes 16 rich colorways.

PERFECT MATCH

PERFECT MATCH is the blending of two most beautiful materials that nature has to offer. They may be very different, but they are made for each other when woven together in a harmonious composition. The high-quality flax fiber exudes clarity and allows for brilliant color results. Meanwhile, the wool content contributes volume, softness and stability. Each of the 25 colorways are a richly facetted play of natural colors.

GOOD TIME

The monochrome satin-weave fabric GOOD TIME really is true to its name. As an elegant décor fabric it combines elegance with modern laidback qualities. The natural linen reverse adds a subtle liveliness to the cotton front. A gentle, soft finish ensures a particularly smooth drape and a velvety-soft feel.

RELAX

A pleasantly velvety chenille surface provides this robust and durable and uncomplicated upholstery fabric with a laidback feel. The subtle check pattern is reminiscent of a close-up of a woven structure and brings additional color into play. RELAX adds a restful dimension to expansive upholstered surfaces.

CUT OUT

The original inspiration for CUT OUT was a collage of differently textured pieces of paper in a variety of off-white hues. The diversity of surface structures is achieved through the different weaving techniques and the use of a variety of yarns. The floor-length ‘scherli’ fabric also plays with transparency and opacity.

Good Time

ON THE ROCKS

ON THE ROCKS is luxurious and intoxicating, like a spirited cocktail evening. The superfine silk warp thread brings a sheen to each colorway. The cotton-linen mélange in the background ensures an exciting contrast of materials to the elegantly shimmering silk.

SYMBOLS

The concentrically arranged bow-shaped motifs exude a mystical and meditative feeling. They awaken associations with prehistoric cave painting or ancient jewelry motifs. A special accent is set by the metallic shimmering paintbrush strokes, adding colorful highlights to individual motif details. The symbolic elements seem to repeat like a mantra, but are nevertheless each slightly different and therefore unique.

ABOVE THE CLOUDS

If the ‘lightness of being’ could be translated into fabric form, it would be this: ABOVE THE CLOUDS. Like a summery cloud the gravity-defying design unfolds as an allover embroidery on a transparent linen base fabric. Playful, graceful and ethereally beautiful.

GENTLE WOOL

The irresistible touch and the smooth drape make this elegant satin-woven fabric a real draw in any room. The fabric acts almost as a soft-focus filter, allowing the daylight to permeate gently, contributing to a soothing atmosphere. Perfect as a sophisticated window treatment or as a luxurious shawl for cooler summer nights.

CRAFTED STRIPE

The appeal of nature’s imperfections is not only celebrated in the Japanese aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi, but also in one of the new ZR’s signature pieces, CRAFTED STRIPE, for which large stripes were artistically applied to natural linen

Fabrics play a key role in this interior choreography and enrich the space through the harmonious or deliberately contrasting interplay of elements. Tradition meets modernity. Ancient meets elegance.
